Summer 2026 :)

We employ undergraduate students to deliver our STEM programs. Throughout the school year, we travel to schools around the Fredericton area to run hands-on programs for youth in grades K-12.

Your job would be to educate and inspire young minds, to share with them a positive outlook on the world of science & engineering, and to serve as a resource to other educators through the delivery of hands-on activities.

Instructor Positions

Worlds UNBound is looking for passionate university students to lead our summer programming!

Instructors spend 2 exciting months delivering workshops to grade K-8 youth across New Brunswick before leading 8 weeks of STEM-based summer camps. Check out more details on the job posting below.

Specialist Positions

Open to returning Worlds UNBound staff

Community Outreach Specialist

Positions Available: 1

May - Aug 2026

Organize and lead STEM community outreach programming to youth in grades 1-12 throughout New Brunswick. This position includes week-long overnight travel periods.

Office & Camper Support Specialist

Positions Available: 2 (pending funding)

May - Aug 2026

Coordinate camp registration, scheduling, office work, staff training and camper behaviour.

Tech Specialist

Positions Available: 1

May - Aug 2026

Lead all tech-based STEM programming for workshop and camp seasons. Train and mentor staff in the effective and proper use of Worlds UNBound tech.

Workshop Specialist

Positions Available: 1

April - Aug 2026

Coordinate and schedule STEM workshops and staffing, manage inventory and track finances, train staff in content delivery, and conduct program evaluations.

Volunteer Positions

Worlds UNBound Summer Camps have great volunteer opportunities!

Positions are open for students in Grades 7-9 as of Fall 2026! Download the application form and email it to worlds@unb.ca.

Volunteer hours are typically 9 am-4 pm, with a one-hour lunch break; these hours are flexible. Volunteers can join us for 1-3 weeks per summer.

There is a training event for all volunteers in June, date TBD.
